Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
pramanam.net and the brand Pramanam are owned and operated by Wesix-Stars Projects Private Limited (CIN U70200KL2024PTC089285), registered office III/914-2, No. 7A, Green Park, Near Daya Hospital, Thiruvambady, Thrissur 680022, Kerala, India (“Pramanam”, “we”). For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), Wesix-Stars Projects Private Limited is the Data Fiduciary for personal data processed through pramanam.net.

2. What we collect
Account information. When you register we collect your name and mobile number. There is no password or PIN: you sign in with a one-time code sent to your mobile on WhatsApp. Codes are stored only as one-way hashes and expire after 10 minutes.
Birth details. To compute a chart we collect, for each person a chart is cast for: name and tharavadu or initials; date of birth; time of birth; place of birth and the derived latitude, longitude and timezone; gender; and marital status where a reading depends on it. These are the inputs the calculation requires. Without them no chart can be produced.
What we generate and store. The computed chart and its derived values; generated readings, stored so you can re-open a report you have already received without it being generated again; and a chart hash — a one-way fingerprint of date, time, latitude and longitude used to recognise a repeated chart. It cannot be reversed to recover the birth details.
Report IDs. Each report you download carries a report ID and a QR code that lets anyone holding it check that it is a genuine Pramanam report. For each ID we keep the report, its language, the date it was first prepared, the name printed on the cover, and a one-way fingerprint of your account. The fingerprint cannot be turned back into your account; it lets us remove the name if you delete your account.
Astrologer network. If you register your interest, Pramanam keeps your name, mobile number, district and the details you give only to contact you about the astrologer network, and deletes them on request.
Technical information. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps), and a session cookie (pramanam_session) that keeps you signed in for seven days. We also store some values in your browser's own storage to remember your language choice and to return you to your last chart; these stay on your device.
MyDay and My Loved Ones. Your own date, time and place of birth, and the place where you live now if you give it, if you choose to save them for MyDay. If you add people to My Loved Ones, the details you give about each of them: name, how they are related to you, date and time of birth or birth star and Malayalam month, the date of passing for someone remembered, and a phone number if you give one. You may add people only after giving the MyDay consent on your Account page, and only if you are entitled to share their details. A phone number is used only for the “Send a wish” button: it opens a WhatsApp chat with that person on your own phone, with a greeting ready for you to send yourself. Pramanam never sends messages to, calls, or shares the numbers of the people you add.
We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. If that changes, this page will be updated.

We process this data on the basis of the consent you give when you create an account and when you submit birth details, as provided under the DPDP Act.
4. Entering someone else's birth details
Pramanam lets you cast a chart for another person — a spouse, a child, a prospective match in a porutham, a business partner. If you enter another person's birth details, you confirm that you are entitled to do so. Where that person is capable of giving consent, you should have it. You remain responsible for what you enter about others.
Children. The DPDP Act requires verifiable parental consent before processing the personal data of a child under 18. If you enter a child's birth details, you confirm you are the child's parent or lawful guardian, or that you act with their authority.
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We do not share it for advertising. We use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf:

We may disclose personal data where the law requires it.
6. Written readings and cross-border processing
This section describes something you should read carefully.
Some Pramanam readings — the Life Summary, and answers in AI Chat — are written by a large language model operated by Anthropic PBC, in the United States. When you request one of these, the following is sent to Anthropic in order to produce the text: the name and tharavadu you entered for the chart; the computed chart values (planetary positions, dasha periods, yogas and similar), and the gender and marital status where the reading depends on them; and, for AI Chat, the question you type.
Your mobile number, your account identity and your login details are not sent.
In the Verifier, if you choose to add a photo of your astrologer's written recommendation instead of typing it, that photo is sent to Anthropic so its text can be read. Whatever is written or shown in the photo goes with it. The text read from it is placed in the recommendation box for you to check. Pramanam does not keep the photo. If you type the recommendation, nothing is sent.
This means those details are transferred outside India for processing. By requesting such a reading you consent to that transfer. Anthropic processes the data to return the text to us, and under Anthropic's Commercial Terms of Service as at 3 November 2026, Anthropic may not train its models on that content.
The remainder of Pramanam — the chart calculation itself, the free Grahanila, Porutham, Muhurtham, Panchangam, Daily Horoscope, and the Verifier's checks of the recommendation against your chart — is computed entirely on our own servers using the Swiss Ephemeris and involves no third-party AI processing at all.
7. How long we keep it

You may ask us to erase your data sooner. See section 8.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you may: access a summary of the personal data we hold about you; correct anything inaccurate and complete anything incomplete; erase your personal data where we are not required to keep it; nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated; withdraw consent at any time, though this means we can no longer provide readings that depend on the data; and complain to us, and to the Data Protection Board of India if we do not resolve it.
Your Account page has a section called Privacy and your data:
- Get a copy of my data shows at once a summary of what we hold about you, which you can save or print.
- Delete my account asks you to confirm with a code we send to your mobile on WhatsApp. Your account is then deleted automatically 7 days later. Until then a notice on every page shows the date, and you can cancel. What is kept after deletion, and why, is set out in section 7.
Only the account holder can make these requests, signed in and confirming with a code sent to their mobile. For any other right, or if you cannot sign in, write to support@pramanam.net. We will confirm that the request comes from the account holder before acting on it, and respond within 30 days.
9. Communications
We send you the reports you request, and messages about your account or the service. If you have asked for updates, we may also write to you occasionally about Pramanam — new features and offers. You can stop these at any time by replying or by writing to support@pramanam.net. We do not share your address with anyone else.
Asking for updates is optional, it is never a condition of using Pramanam, and the choice is recorded with the date you made it.
10. Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and held in a hosted database with access restricted to the operator. Sign-in codes are stored only as one-way hashes. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as the Act requires.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change materially affects how we use your data we will tell you.

13. Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India. The courts at Thrissur, Kerala have exclusive jurisdiction.
