1. Who you are agreeing with
pramanam.net is operated by Pramanam Astro, a proprietorship of Surendra Kumar, at Deepam, Odath Lane, Thiruvambady, Thrissur, Kerala 680022, India (“Pramanam”, “we”). By creating an account or using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the service.
2. What Pramanam is
Pramanam computes Kerala Vedic astrological charts and produces readings from them. Calculations use the Swiss Ephemeris with Drik Ganita, the Lahiri ayanamsa, whole-sign houses and the mean node, cross-verified against the standard published Kerala almanac.
Some readings are written by an AI language model from the computed chart. Which ones, and what is sent, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
3. Access during the invitation period
Pramanam is currently available by invitation. An invite code is required to create an account, and codes are valid to the end of August 2026. We may change, limit or end the invitation period at any time.
4. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to hold an account. If you enter birth details for another person, including a child, section 4 of the Privacy Policy applies and you confirm you are entitled to do so.
5. What we do not promise — please read this one
Astrology is a traditional interpretive practice. Pramanam's readings are offered for guidance and reflection. They are not, and must not be treated as:
- medical advice, diagnosis, or a reason to start, stop or change any treatment
- legal advice
- financial or investment advice
- a prediction of what will happen
We make no claim that any reading is accurate as a forecast. What we do claim is that the computation is accurate: that the planetary positions, dashas and panchanga elements are correctly calculated to a recognised standard. The interpretation built on them follows classical texts, and classical texts disagree with each other.
Decisions about marriage, health, money, travel, or anything else that matters are yours. Where a decision carries weight, consult a qualified astrologer in person — and for medical, legal or financial matters, a qualified professional in that field. Pramanam is not a substitute for professional advice of any kind.
6. Your account and your PIN
Your account is identified by your mobile number and protected by a PIN you choose. Keep your PIN to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@pramanam.net if you believe someone else has access to it. Repeated incorrect PIN entries temporarily lock the account.
You must give accurate information. A chart computed from wrong birth details is simply a chart for someone who does not exist.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Pramanam to harass, defraud or mislead anyone; enter another person's birth details where you have no right to; resell, redistribute or publish our readings as your own; attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service; or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend or close an account that does any of these.
8. Payments
Payments are not live. During the soft launch all features are free. When payments open, prices will be shown in Indian rupees before you pay, and the Refund Policy will apply.
9. Intellectual property
The site, its design, its written templates and the readings it produces belong to Pramanam. The astrological tradition itself belongs to nobody — the classical sources we draw on are in the public domain. You may keep, print and share the reports produced for you, for your own purposes. You may not publish them commercially or present them as your own work.
10. Availability
We try to keep Pramanam running but do not guarantee it will be available without interruption. Features may change or be withdrawn. During the soft launch, some features are deliberately limited or switched off.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Pramanam is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any decision you take on the basis of a reading. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
12. Ending your use
You may stop using Pramanam and ask us to close your account at any time by writing to support@pramanam.net. We may close an account that breaches these terms.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed. Continuing to use Pramanam after a change means you accept it.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Thrissur, Kerala have exclusive jurisdiction.
